The Animal Rescue site is having a contest to help out animal rescue organizations. PLEASE VOTE for ReRun--Every day thru July 26. ReRun is a non profit 501c organization that helps out Thoroughbred horses that have finished their career as a racehorse. As many of you have heard already, many of these horses have shown up at the auction houses. We work w/ the TB trainers & owners and ask them to contact us when their TB horse’s career is finished. ReRun rides & trains these horses & adopt them out. Most of these horses turn into lovely show horses. Help us help them.

On the Next Screen at the top there's a box that says "Help your Favorite Shelter win a Prize" Click on the Red VOTE NOW.
You will be redirected to another page. In the lavender box, it says "Search and Vote for a Shelter" - choose NJ and then type in "ReRun"
ReRun is located in Helmetta, NJ if you have problems finding them.
Then VOTE FOR RERUN.
On the next screen you have to confirm your vote. You will see a photo of an animal (Horse, frog, bear, etc.). Type in the type of animal it is and click. That is all there is to it.
You can vote once a day.
Beginning April 13 and each day through July 26th, you can cast a vote. Petfinder.com will give more big awards than before: There are two new Honorable Mention Prizes of $1,500 each; Third Prize is $3,000; Second Prize is $5,000; and the Grand Prize is $20,000. In addition, there will be 54 state and regional prizes of $1,000 awarded to the top vote-getter in each of the 50 states; Washington, D.C.; the U.S. Territories; plus the two top organizations in Canada. These prizes and the top five award winners will be announced on July 29th.
Want some instant gratification? Each week of the contest, we'll announce a Weekly Award of $1,000 to be given to the organization that's accumulated the most votes for that week.
