Cross Country Course near Manhattan

I live in Manhattan and looking to start riding again. I was just starting to get into cross country when I stopped 12 years ago. I've researched quite a bit and it looks like I'm going to have to go at least an hour out of the city to find a barn with a cross country course. But perhaps there is a barn I missed? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
