Just make sure as to who you are leasing to !!! There have been many a case where the stable owner has been held accountable for the condition of the horses.
If you live on the property you can not say you were unaware of the feeding, stalls etc.. I leased to a very well know trainer who feed whenever and her clients had no idea what was going on. The horses stood in blankets in the sun etc.. I call ASPCA to get her removed, but had to fight in court not to be sued "because I knew". The animal officer worked to place the blame in the right place
