I used to own a TWH and never had a problem fitting him for blankets. Make sure you have the correct size blanket on him. Seriously, too often people have too small or too big of a blanket on their horses. I like the Weatherbeeta Freestyle blankets. B/c of the cut they fit the horse better and I haven't had any rubs on my horses since i started using Freestyle vs standard cut blankets.
(freestyle blankets do run a size big, so remember that when shopping)
