As for being proactive about protecting our last remaining rural areas and wildlife habitat, I agree and am active in my local community. Rural areas are the ones growing and the people who are moving in often seem more comfortable living in a more built up area then rural, but love the house and land prices that go with a growing rural area.........then they want to make it the same as what they left!

Anyone that has animals or farms in these areas better be active simply to preserve a little way of life.
