I can take from your view, that you must board horses. You probably are not opposed to slaughter as much as breeders, haulers, and trainers.
Your level of blame for the cost of hay, feed, shavings, gas, lack of time, and not enough places to ride are valid. But reasoning for those high prices are governed by weather, polloticians, and over crowding of homes being erected in New Jersey.

I love my animals and hope never to come down to a decision of heating my house or keeping my pet.

We all express so much emphisis about saving horses and other animals. Why not ban together against construction and the devastation it is causing on our open space.

Just a little input. But not wanting to cause a heated debate.
