I have 23 yr tb mare she has been a hard keeper since I have owned her (9 years)I have tried everything. Right now she is looking the best she has since I have owned her. I switched her to Triple Crown Complete. And (I feel that this is what really helped her) free feed hay ( i feed straight alfalfa). Alot of people will disagree w/ the alfalfa but...every horse on my farm (24) is on it and all have excellent weight and are always dappled. Keep it simple. I dont feed supplements. I have in the past. Didnt notice much improvement. Free feed hay is the key. (in my opinion). I also have a 5 yr ottb who is also on the same feed regimine. Very good weight and happy.
