Advice! Talented Rider with strange issue . . .

I am a very experienced, gentle rider who has in the past been paid a few days a week to train green sport horses for sale as hunter/jumpers. I have slowed extreme rushers, solved mounting problems, and ridden difficult horses that no one else was able to ride. I have ridden at barns all over the country and been told repeatedly that I am a very kind, talented rider. Though I was paid in the past, in the last numerous years I have been unable to find anyone to pay me.

Any thoughts? Why is it so difficult to find paid riding? I see some other people who get paid and, trust me, I am just as qualified with just as much (if not more) to offer. One woman I rode for told me that NO ONE else could ride her super hot horse, but she could not afford to pay any longer. I am wondering if anyone has any personal experience with how people who are NOT professional riders find people who are willing to pay them to ride their horses. My sister's own kid at 16 years old gets $20 a horse at a barn to exericse! What am I doing wrong?
